Established on March 1, 1985, by visionary entrepreneur Bernardo Biagi, the company is proudly headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.
1995
Beginning of alcohol production (PRÓALCOOL)
2000
Itaquerê Development Institute
A project that works on social promotion, developing, advising and providing technical support for programs to assist children and adolescents.
2004
The financial statements of the Itaquerê Group begin to be audited by one of the “Big Four” auditing companies in the world.
2006
Implementation of the Entomology Laboratory
Biofactory for breeding parasitoids (Cotesia flavipes) to control the sugarcane borer and the entomopathogenic fungus (Metharizium anisopilae) to control the sugarcane root spittlebug.
2008
Installation of the new boiler, distillery and transformation into an agroindustry
Usina Batatais becomes an agroindustry as of March 31st1. The Itaquerê Group is now made up of Usina Batatais and Agropecuária Nova Europa S.A., which owns the group’s land.
2016
The Group makes investments and reaches a milling capacity of over 4 million tons.
2021
Commercialization of surplus energy from sugarcane bagasse
2024
Construction of the Sugar Storage Silo and expansion of milling and production capacity.
